Fixed, mixed and assigned contracts are tracked on their comparison price (öre/kWh incl. VAT at 2000 kWh/year). Variable monthly, hourly and quarter-hourly contracts are tracked only on their markup and monthly fee: their comparison price is recomputed against the Nord Pool monthly reference and therefore moves every day without the supplier changing anything. Moves smaller than 0.5 % or 0.1 öre/kWh are left out.
Elpriskollen periodically drops whole suppliers from the register and puts them back a few days later. Those lines read “No longer listed at Ei” and “Back in the comparison” — it is the listing that changed, not necessarily the contract.
