The widget is a small standalone page, 320 × 220 pixels, shown in an iframe. It loads no scripts and sets no cookies.

The prices in the widget change when kollaelpris.se updates, a few times a day. Fixed prices are the figures the Fixed price page shows for the same area and consumption.

The line under the iframe is the link to kollaelpris.se. Please keep it.

Open data (JSON)

The lowest and the median fixed price per price area, term (1, 2 and 3 years) and annual consumption (2,000, 5,000 and 20,000 kWh) are in a JSON file. It is built from the same data as the site, a few times a day, and can be read from any website (CORS).

cheapest
Lowest comparison price, öre/kWh incl. VAT, one decimal: the figure the Fixed price page shows. null when no contract has a price.
cheapestDiscount
true when the lowest price includes a temporary discount.
median
The median of the contracts' comparison prices, öre/kWh incl. VAT, one decimal.
offers
How many contracts have a price at that consumption.
source, attribution, attributionUrl, licence
Source and terms, to show with the figures.

The comparison price is the energy price plus fixed fees converted to öre/kWh at that consumption, including 25 % VAT. Grid fees and energy tax are not included.

The file holds aggregate figures, not individual contracts. To show which suppliers are cheapest, use the widget or link to the Fixed price page.

The version is in the address (v1). New fields may be added to v1. A field that changes or goes away comes under a new address.

The prices change a few times a day, so fetching the file once an hour is enough.

Spot prices are not in the file. They are open and free at elprisetjustnu.se, which publishes Nord Pool's day-ahead prices per price area: Elpriset just nu.se – API ↗

The prices are collected automatically and can lag behind the supplier's own page. Always check the price with the supplier before you sign a contract.
