In October 2026 so far (1–27 October) the SE3 spot price averaged 72.9 öre/kWh excl. VAT, 16.4 % lower than in September and 16.0 % higher than in October 2025. The corresponding averages were 30.6 öre/kWh in SE1, 37.0 in SE2 and 138.4 in SE4. The most expensive day in SE3 so far this month was Monday 12 October (140.4 öre/kWh), the cheapest Sunday 25 October (1.9 öre/kWh). Of 65 suppliers with a 1-year fixed price in SE3 on both 30 September and 27 October, 43 raised their cheapest such price and 12 lowered it. The median change was +6.3 öre/kWh. The lowest comparison price for a 1-year fixed price in SE3 on 27 October was 135.7 öre/kWh incl. VAT at 2,000 kWh/yr and 135.7 öre/kWh at 20,000 kWh/yr. On 27 October an assigned contract in SE3 had a median comparison price 19.1 öre/kWh higher than the same supplier's cheapest other contract in the area. So far this month 1,962 price changes at 87 suppliers have been recorded: 1,338 rises and 624 cuts.

Spot prices: Nord Pool's day-ahead price via elprisetjustnu.se, daily averages in öre/kWh excl. VAT. The supplier's markup, energy tax, VAT and the grid fee come on top.
Fixed prices: comparison price (jämförpris) from Elpriskollen and the suppliers' own pages, öre/kWh incl. VAT, energy price and fixed fee included. Grid fee and energy tax are not included. Contracts sold nationwide count in every price area. The changes compare Elpriskollen's figures on both days, so a switch from Elpriskollen's figure to the supplier's own does not count as a price change.
Assigned contracts: comparison price from Elpriskollen and the suppliers' own pages. For assigned and variable contracts it is based on a settled month's average spot price.
A contract counts as a price change when its comparison price moved by at least 0.5 % and 0.1 öre/kWh between two collections. The same change in several price areas counts once. The date is the day the change was found.
